We aim to provide as many visits and visitors as possible to give children as many experiences as possible outside of the classroom. This helps them to develop a breadth of skills across the curriculum.

Dallowgill

We are lucky enough to regularly visit Dallowgill, an outdoor pursuit centre, owned by Delta Academies Trust. Here, the children have the opportunity to experience the outdoors, taking part in activities such as den building and night walks.

Delta Games

Each year, the children have the opportunity to participate in the Delta Games, in a stadium against the other Delta schools. This is a fabulous opportunity for the children.

MKM site visit

The children are given the opportunity to visit MKM and see what happens in industry. They have the chance to see how products are designed and marketed, and also how to drive the forklift.

London Visit

In upper Key Stage 2, the children at Mersey are given the opportunity to visit London including a Houses of Parliament visit, a river cruise and a visit to the theatre.
